| THE THREE COLLA CONQUERERS This is an article I found that I think some
might find interesting. It would make an excellent film to rival Lord of the Rings, in my humble opinion.  I wish I could
recall where I found it, and from what book the addenda is from, but I can't.  I have not read the entire article myself
but look forward to doing so. The
three Colla's were "the sons of Eochy Dubhlen, who was the son of Carbry Liffechar,  the 117th Monarch
of Ireland". Upon his death the succession of the monarchy skipped over Enochy to his
                                       younger brother, Fiacha.
 | | | During a bloody war to restore the succession
to their own line, the Three Colla's murdered their uncle Fiacha and claimed the throne for Colla Uais.  Fiacha's son
Muredach, disposed of Colla Uais and banished to Scotland The Three Collas and their principal chiefs.  They were eventually
allowed to return to Ireland, pardoned and warmly welcomed by the Irish Monarch after the intervention of the King of Alba
(?) and the mediation of the Druids. -- Áine   PLEASE CLICK ON EACH THUMBNAIL
