ROBERT McBRIDE

I am looking for information on Robert McBride born in either 1829 or 1830 in Ireland. Family lore says he was from Plumbridge. Father's name may be Andrew.
Robert McBride's brothers may have been named Andrew,Robert,William,John,James,Thomas and Henry.
He was in the US by the time of the 1860 census in Philadelphia, PA. His occupation was a gardener and he may have worked for a family by the name of Scott. Married Mary Ann Given,(daughter of John Given and sister of George Given) in 1862 in Philadelphia in the Episcopal Church. They had 6 sons(Andrew,Robert,William,John,James&Thomas all born and raised in Philadelphia, PA).
.(In early records name was listed incorrectly as McBriar, McBriar,McBridge)
Related family(but relationship unknown)is the McKnight family.
I was happy to find this site and that it mentions McBride's from Plumbridge!
Lynn Carroll(great great granddaughter of Robert McBride)

McCOLLOUGH'S ROCK

Anyone know anything about a strangely shaped, huge rock formation in Wheeling, West Virginia called "McCollough's Rock"? Pictured here is a scan of a post card showing it.
