Nancy McCollough
Nancy (Ann?) McCullough was the last child of Edward McCullough/McCollough and (?) McBride, and was
born about 1786 in Plumbridge or Gortin, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. We believe she followed her brothers to Quebec
at some point yet unknown to us. Sometime prior to 1810 she married Patrick McCarthy (born 1774, location unknown) twelve
years her senior. I have not yet found records of where he was born or when she emmigrated from Ireland. Together, they had
five children. Patrick died just before the birth of their last child, February 21, 1846 at the age of 72 in St. Georges,
Beauce, Québec, Canada and she died March 22, 1876 at the age of 90 in St. Côme, Beauce, Québec, Canada,
surviving her husband by about 30 years, and at least two of her children. Husband and wife are each buried in St. Georges
Cemetery.
Lineage Chart How to use this chart: I
am a person who remembers and undertands data that is laid out graphically rather than text outline. There are many good family
tree templates out there that use a chronological text outline, but I have chosen here to do it as blocks of generations,
earliest born to the left, latest born to the right. The varying colors differentiate the individual lines of descendants.
