Edward McCollough Jr. is who we believe to be the first
son of Edward, the earliest ancestor we have information on. Born in Ireland around 1780, he traveled with his brother Patrick
McCollor to Canada from Ireland in 1850. He was married to a woman by the name of Jane, whose last name we do not yet know.
Their first son, Patrick, with them and their second son, Michael born aboard ship enroute to Canada, they went on to have
more children, the information about which I am just beginning to record working
with our "cousins" in Canada who are descendants of Edward and Jane. For information on Edward's son, Patrick, refer
to Nancy McCollor's Page PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A LANGUAGE CHALLENGE, I will interpret
the information provided to me, it would be great if one of these Canadian Cousins would double check my records for errors!
